Jennifer Hughes

Jennifer Hughes is an Atlanta native with over 23 years of teaching and administrative experience. She received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and obtained her certification in grades Pre-K through fifth. She taught fourth grade in Cobb County for four years before moving to Washington, D.C., where she taught fifth grade for one year. At First Presbyterian Preschool, she was a lead Pre-K teacher for 10 years before joining the admin team as the Curriculum Coordinator for another six. She happily joined the Haygood Preschool team in 2016!

Jennifer has been married for over twenty years and is mom to daughter Lily. She enjoys cooking, gardening, watching movies, and spending time with her husband, daughter Lily, and their dog, Stella.
